Nature Nanaimo needs volunteers for many activities throughout the year. If you are interested in lending a hand, please let us know what activities interest you by contacting Doug Fraser at [email protected].

Here’s how you can help:

Programs: Help arrange Nature nuggets and speakers for the general meetings

Outings/field trips: assist in organizing short and longer field trips and rambles

Projects:  Assist with projects such as the Purple Martin nest boxes and Buttertubs Miner’s Cottage

Social events: as part of a social committee assist in organizing events such as the summer barbecue, Christmas party and refreshments at other events

Website/newsletter: assist the webmaster in gathering information for the monthly newsletter and the website

Fundraising:  assist with grant writing and funding proposals 

Board of Directors: Act as a Board Director as elected at the AGM in November, or as an assistant to the Board
