Marta Donovan is a registered professional biologist who currently works as a botanist with the BC Conservation Data Centre in Victoria, where she manages information on the conservation status and distribution of rare native plants in BC.
Marta’s presentation will include an introduction to BC Conservation Data Centre – who they are & what they do, provide an overview of criteria used in provincial conservation status assessment including the criteria that were applied to local populations of bog bird’s foot trefoil – Hosackia pinnata. Marta will also explain the name change from Lotus pinnatus to Hosackia pinnata.
