On Saturday June 15th, Nature Nanaimo hosted our first annual picnic at the Wildwood Ecoforest!
The event was a wonderful success with 60 people in attendance. It was wonderfully organized by our planning committee so a huge thank you goes out to them and all the members that helped by lending bbqs, helping with the cooking, contributing salads and other goodies, shuttling of people, set up and take down and everything in between.
We were treated to excellent highly informative tours of the Wildwood Ecoforest and were able to witness a very healthy well managed forest and the weather was fabulous.
